If you’ve tuned into any Washington Nationals game recently, chances are, you saw just how fast utility player Trea Turner is.
Turner is so fast that he is capable of running from home plate to first base in 3.4 seconds. In comparison, other right-handed hitters run on average from home plate to first base in 4.3 seconds.
In an exclusive with Whistle Sports’ No Days Off series, Turner shows how he spends his offseason training to become even faster. The N.C. State product returned to his college training facilities to work on that explosiveness and agility in the weight room.
