Hillary Clinton was spotted in New York City dining with her “Saturday Night Live” double Kate McKinnon before heading over to watch Glenn Close star in the Broadway play “Sunset Boulevard” Wednesday night.

The duo was seen chatting over dinner at Orso, an Italian pre-show staple for many New Yorkers, the New York Post reported.

“Lots of laughter emanated from their table,” a “spy” told the newspaper.

At one point, a pro-Clinton diner started chanting “Lock him up!” as a riff on President Trump’s pre-election rallying cry, the Post reported.

Ms. McKinnon, who also impersonates Mr. Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway on “SNL,” was a vocal supporter of Mrs. Clinton’s failed campaign. She and the former secretary of state appeared together during the show’s season 41 premiere in October 2015, in which Ms. McKinnon’s Clinton fantasized about mounting Mr. Trump’s hair in the Oval Office.

Mrs. Clinton, the former Democratic presidential nominee, has embarked on a tour of Broadway in the months following her shocking loss to Mr. Trump. She has received standing ovations and sustained applause from audiences at “In Transit,” “The Humans” and “The Color Purple.”

At “Sunset Boulevard,” playing at the Palace Theatre, the audience stood and cheered for Mrs. Clinton as she took her seat. After the show, the former New York senator visited backstage to meet the cast, according to reports.
