MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - Jonathan Stark hit 6 of 7 from behind the 3-point arc to score 27 points and spark Murray State to an 84-73 win over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Thursday night.

The Cougars have lost 14 straight games, all against Ohio Valley Conference opponents.

Stark hit a 3-pointer with 5:07 left in the first half to give the Racers an 11-point lead, but SIU-Edwardsville rallied to trail by three at intermission, 38-35. But the Cougars never caught Murray State and trailed by as many as 18 points in the second half before rallying late to get within 11.

Murray State, which now has won 17 of its 20 games against SIUE, got 18 points and 13 rebounds from Terrell Miller Jr.

Burak Eslik and Devin Thornton each scored 19 points for SIU-Edwardsville (5-23, 0-14).

The Racers (14-13, 8-5) have three games remaining in their regular season and are bidding for a 30th consecutive winning season.
