It seems so hard to believe considering Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has dominated the NBA since he came in as a high school phenom, but for the first time in his career, James was set to be the oldest player at the upcoming All Star game.
Not anymore.
With the Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love’s recent announcement of arthroscopic knee surgery, which will keep him out of basketball-related activities for six weeks, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony was added as a replacement.
James’ age? 32. Anthony’s age? 32.
However, James’s birthday is Dec. 30, while Anthony’s is May 29, making Anthony the oldest All Star by 215 days.
That realization made James very happy. While he likes to be the best at everything within the NBA…he doesn’t really like being considered the oldest. Take a look.
