LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas motorcyclist has been killed and his passenger critically injured in a fiery collision with a car north of the Strip.

Police say the 46-year-old victim and his passenger were ejected from the 2006 Suzuki after it struck a 2015 Toyota Corolla shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the westbound car on Charleston Boulevard was turning left onto Arville Street when it was hit by the cycle.

The Toyota became engulfed in flames, but the driver and three passengers escaped and were taken to the hospital.

The motorcyclist’s name has not been released. His passenger, 30-year-old Mia Mabury of Las Vegas, remained in critical condition Thursday.

A juvenile in the car was not hurt. Police say the car’s driver suffered minor injuries. They described injuries to the two others as moderate. The crash remains under investigation.
