The Eastern Conference’s top-ranked team will be without an All-Star forward for a while.
Cleveland Cavaliers Kevin Love will be out for at least six weeks after the 28-year-old underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to remove a loose body from his left knee.

The surgery will likely knock Love out of the lineup for the remainder of the regular season. Love, who was named to his fourth All-Star team this year, will also miss Sunday’s game in New Orleans.
This season, Love is averaging 20.0 points per game, his highest total since joining the Cavaliers in 2014.
With Love out of the lineup, expect to see forward Channing Frye on the court a bit more.
