The Denver Nuggets just could not miss Monday night against the Golden State Warriors.
Despite only having nine players suit up due to injury, Denver attempted 40 three-pointers and made 24 of them, tying the Nuggets with the Houston Rockets for most in an NBA game.
The Rockets set the record earlier this year, but they weren’t nearly as efficient as Denver, making only 24 of 61 attempts.

Forward Juancho Hernangomez led the Nuggets 27 points and 10 rebounds, making six of nine attempts from beyond the arc.
In total, Denver had four different players make four or more three-pointers.
The success gave the Nuggets a 132-110 win over the NBA’s top team, which is third in the league in 3-pointers made and percentage but shot just 8-32 from deep Monday.
