LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - State police officials say two Arkansas residents have died in separate car crashes.
Preliminary crash summaries issued by the Arkansas State Police say both crashes happened Friday.
In the first, 55-year-old Enola resident Kenneth W. Millsaps died in the Franklin County wreck.
State police say Millsaps was traveling on State Highway 22 when his vehicle ran off the roadway.
Millsaps attempted to return to the traffic lanes, but his vehicle overturned onto its side and traveled across the lanes and into a ditch.
The second crash in Pulaski County claimed 66-year-old Bigelow resident Diana B. Cain.
State police say Bigelow was traveling westbound on State Highway 10 when her vehicle veered off the road, went over the north shoulder and down an embankment. Her vehicle ended up in a ditch.
