Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery Friday morning ahead of scheduled meetings with President Trump at the White House.

Mr. Trump was scheduled to take meetings and hold a joint press conference with Mr. Abe on Friday before departing for his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, where the president is scheduled to have dinner with the prime minister Friday evening.

Mr. Abe also spoke at a U.S. Chamber of Commerce event Friday morning.
