MORAGA, Calif. (AP) - Tanner Krebs hit five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points - both career highs - and Jock Landale had a double-double to help Saint Mary’s beat Seattle 97-73 on Saturday night.

Landale finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Jordan Ford added career bests of 19 points and six assists for Saint Mary’s (7-2). Emmett Naar added seven points and had 12 assists for the third time this season. The senior came in averaging 8.8 assists per game, second most in Division I.

Krebs hit a 3-pointer to spark a 14-0 run that gave the Gaels a 45-28 lead when he hit another 3 - his fifth - late in the first half and Saint Mary’s led by double figures the rest of the way. Krebs, whose previous career high was 14 points, had 17 at the break and Landale added 11 as the Gaels shot 58.6 percent (17 of 29) in the first half.

Matej Kavas had 19 points to lead five Seattle (6-5) players in double figures.

Krebs hit three 3s during a 19-9 run to open the game. Kavas scored seven in a row before Jordan Hill’s 3-pointer capped a 10-0 run that made it 23-all. Naar answered with a 3 and Saint Mary’s led the rest of the way.
