DENVER (AP) - The Latest on a demonstration by Frontier pilots in Denver (all times local):

Frontier Airlines pilots working under a bankruptcy contract are trying to win support from the public as they push for higher pay from the Denver-based discount carrier.
About 350 pilots, including a handful from other airlines, staged an informational picket outside Denver’s city hall Thursday following what their union described as another round of fruitless contract talks.
Keeping with union rules, the uniformed pilots walked silently up and down the sidewalk in frigid weather, holding signs.
The pilots unanimously voted in September to authorize a strike if they can’t reach a deal but say that’s not their intention.
Frontier says it is still actively involved with the negotiations taking place under the guidance of the National Mediation Board.
Federal law makes it difficult to strike in the airline industry and the process it lays out would make it impossible to stage one until after the busy holiday travel season.

The union representing the pilots says they’ll hold an informational picket and rally at Civic Center Park on Thursday following what it called another round of fruitless contract talks.
In September, the pilots voted to authorize a strike if a new contract can’t be reached with the Denver-based discount airline.
The Air Line Pilots Association says Frontier pilots are ready to ask the federal government to release them from mediation, opening the door to a possible strike.
Federal law makes it difficult to strike in the airline industry so demonstrations aimed at the public are common during contract negotiations.
