ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities say a deadly road rage shooting in metro Atlanta has left police searching for the gunman.
DeKalb County police Lt. Lonzy Robertson tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that officers who were called out to a crash Wednesday night found a driver’s body inside a car that collided into a house. Robertson says the 22-year-old man was shot after cutting off the gunman’s SUV while making a turn.
Robertson says the victim was killed when the gunman pulled next to his car and started shooting. Robertson says the victim died before his car left the road.
Police described the shooter’s vehicle as a dark-colored Mercury Mountaineer.
