Minnesota Sen. Al Franken tweeted Thursday that he plans to speak from the Senate floor, presumably to address calls for him to resign amid numerous sexual harassment claims.

“Senator Franken is scheduled to deliver a speech from the Senate floor at 11:45 AM ET,” Mr. Franken, a Democrat, tweeted.

Several of Mr. Franken’s Senate colleagues called on him to resign Wednesday after a seventh woman accused the senator of groping her.
