TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on a Tucson-area landfill fire (all times local):

Parts of the Tucson area are expected to get some relief from smoke from a landfill fire before conditions worsen again.
The National Weather Service says the smoke plume from the fire at landfill on the city’s southeast side will decrease Sunday afternoon but then increase in concentration in the evening as the temperature inversion redevelops.
Forecasters say that will mean more smoke for eastern and northern parts of the Tucson area.
The Tucson Fire Department says no structures are threatened and there has been no injury from the fire that started early Sunday morning

A landfill fire on Tucson’s outskirts is sending smoke over the southern Arizona city and authorities say it may continue burnings several days.
The Tucson Fire Department says no structures are threatened and there has been no injury from the fire that started early Sunday morning at a landfill on the city’s southeast site.
Firefighters are using a water cannon to fight the fire.
Residents in the area are being advised to stay indoors because of the heavy smoke.
The site is near South Houghton and East Drexel roads.
