EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Washington Redskins running back Samaje Perine and left tackle Ty Nsekhe will not return after exiting Sunday’s game against the New York Giants with injuries.

On just his second carry of the game, Perine was slow to get up and grabbed his ankle. The rookie running back was helped off the field by trainers, slowly limping as he walked off.

Nskehe was also shortly announced after as questionable to return with a knee injury. Rookie offensive lineman Tyler Catalina took over at left tackle, becoming the fourth player to play the position for the Redskins this season.

Both players did not return and were announced out in the third quarter.

The Giants lead the Redskins, 15-10.
