SEATTLE (AP) - A lawsuit has been filed against the city of Seattle after one person was injured and another killed following bicycle crashes at same section of streetcar tracks.

KOMO-TV reports attorney Phil Arnold filed the suit last week on behalf of Desiree McCloud and Suzanne Greenberg who crashed at the same spot in Seattle’s Central District.

Greenberg says she tore a rotator cuff and broke her shoulder when her bike tire became stuck in a track groove gap in May.

The suit claims 27-year-old McCloud crashed her bike in the same way in 2016. McCloud flew off her bike and hit her head. She died 11 days later.

Arnold says his clients are seeking financial damages and permanent change.

Seattle officials declined to comment on the lawsuit.
