JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted receiver Jaelen Strong to the active roster, an indication Allen Hurns will miss his sixth consecutive game.

To make room on the roster Saturday, the Jaguars (10-4) waived/injured first-year receiver Larry Pinkard (concussion).

Hurns (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity all week and was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at San Francisco (4-10). Fellow receiver Marqise Lee (ankle) already has been ruled out.

Jacksonville likely will have rookies Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole in the starting lineup, with punt returner Jaydon Mickens serving as the No. 3 receiver.

Strong was inactive for seven games earlier this season and spent the last five weeks on the team’s practice squad. A third-round pick in 2015 by Houston, Strong has 28 receptions for 292 yards and three touchdowns in 19 career games.

The Jaguars also signed linebacker Deon King to the practice squad.
