SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - After a three-day manhunt, Spokane police have arrested a woman accused of shooting and killing the owner of a South Hill apartment complex last week.

The Spokesman-Review reports that 23-year-old Anne M. Carpenter was booked into Spokane County jail at 9:37 p.m. Friday on first-degree murder and assault charges.

Carpenter is accused of killing Westview Manor owner Danette Kane and shooting the apartment’s manager, Mike Troy, in the head around 3 p.m. Tuesday before fleeing the scene on foot.

Family members say Troy is in a medically induced coma.

Kane’s body was found in a stairwell.

It was not immediately known if Carpenter has a lawyer.
