BOSTON (AP) - A Boston man has pleaded not guilty to fatally shooting a motorcyclist on Interstate 93 and later killing a woman inside his home.

The Boston Globe reports that 30-year-old Lance Holloman pleaded not guilty in the Suffolk Superior Court Thursday to two counts of first-degree murder.

Police say Holloman shot 32-year-old Scott Stevens Jr., of Taunton and the victim’s relative in September as they rode motorcycles on the highway. The relative survived.

They say the body of 24-year-old Michaela Gingras, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was later found shot to death in Holloman’s home.

Boston Police Officer Monicka Stinson, the mother of Holloman’s child, was charged with lying to investigators about her contact with the man. Stinson also pleaded not guilty on Thursday. She has been suspected without pay.
