Ivanka Trump said Thursday that the administration learned to work with lawmakers on Capitol Hill to achieve the goal of tax reform.

“I think we’ve, over the course of the year, learned how to work as a collective and with a unified voice, and you saw that,” Ms. Trump, President Trump’s eldest daughter who’s an adviser, said on Fox News.

She said she personally met with lawmakers who had concerns about certain pieces of the legislation.

“I spent a lot of time with Sen. [Bob] Corker as well, and he had real integrity around this process, I will say that for sure. He had his concerns. He believed his concerns were adequately addressed,” Ms. Trump said of the Tennessee Republican.

Mr. Corker was a last-minute supporter of the bill after initially saying he would not vote in favor of it.

Ms. Trump added she plans to do some traveling around the country during tax season to highlight the positive results of the tax plan.
