President Trump announced Wednesday his intent to nominate ten federal judges and two U.S. attorneys in his ninth wave of judicial nominees this year.

The nominations were welcomed with bipartisan support, but they come after the administration was forced to cancel three district court nominees in less than a week.

The president announced he intends to nominate Judge Joel Carson III for the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Judge Carson is a part-time magistrate judge for the District of New Mexico.

Magistrate Judge Susan Paradise Baxter was nominated for a district judge position for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Colm Connoly, who currently works in private practice, but previously served as United States Attorney for the District of Delaware, is nominated for a district judgeship for the District of Delaware.

Superior Court Judge Kari Dooley was nominated to the District of Connecticut.

Gordon Giampietro, who has worked both in public and private practice, was nominated to be a district judge for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Butler County Judge Marilyn Horan was picked for the Western District of Pennsylvania, while William Jung, a Florida lawyer, was nominated for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Jung’s nomination received bipartisan support from Florida Sens. Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson.

“Last Congress, Mr. Jung was recommended to us by our joint Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission, and we both supported his nomination,” the senators said in a joint statement Wednesday. “We are confident that Mr. Jung will serve honorably.”

Delaware County Judge Chad Kenney was nominated for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Maryellen Noreika, a Delaware lawyer, was selected to be a district judge for the District of Delaware.

Jill Otake, who is Hawaii’s assistant U.S. attorney, was nominated to be a district judge for the District of Hawaii.

William McSwain was nominated to be the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Billy Williams was tapped to be U.S. attorney for the District of Oregon.

Mr. Trump entered office with an unprecedented amount of federal court vacancies and has made more than 50 nominations in his first eleven months in office.

Twenty-two of his judicial nominees have been confirmed by the Senate.
