CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - Two people died in a crash at a Florida intersection.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that the collision occurred Friday afternoon in Clearwater.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a car was making a left turn when it was hit by a car coming from the opposite direction. A woman in the first car’s passenger seat died at the scene, and the man driving that car died later at a nearby hospital.
The driver of the oncoming car was taken to a St. Petersburg hospital with serious injuries.
