JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Officials say a man has died following a house fire in Mississippi.
The Clarion-Ledger reports that 63-year-old Sullivan Canphor died after a house fire early Saturday.
Jackson Fire Department Division Chief Cleotha Sanders says firefighters were dispatched to the house and began a preliminary search as they took the hose line to the fire’s source. Once they had it extinguished, they found Canphor had died in the fire.
Sanders says an investigation is ongoing.
