RUSTON, La. (AP) - Louisiana Tech University has received a more than $1.3 million grant to enhance its cybersecurity programs.

The university, in a news release, says the grant was awarded by the National Science Foundation and will be used to support Tech’s proposed CyberCorps Scholarship for Service program to prepare cybersecurity professionals for entry into the government workforce.

The program proposes to support 36 scholars to complete a bachelor’s degree in either cyber engineering or computer science with a cybersecurity concentration.
