NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Prosecutors in Virginia have dropped charges in a triple shooting that one of the victims recorded on Facebook Live.

The Virginian-Pilot reports that all charges against Tony Angelo Roundtree have been dropped a few weeks before his trial was scheduled to start.

Amanda Howie is a spokeswoman for the Norfolk commonwealth’s attorney’s office. She told the newspaper Wednesday that investigators discovered information “that puts us in the position to not go forward.” No further specifics were released.

The Facebook Live video created in July 2016 shows three men sitting in a car, smoking and listening to music. A barrage of gunshots rings out and the camera falls to the floor, continuing to record audio.

The three men in their 20s were hospitalized. One man was paralyzed.
