Democratic candidate Doug Jones leads Republican Roy Moore by 10 points in the Alabama Senate race, according to an eyebrow-raising poll commissioned by Fox News Channel on the eve of the election.
The Fox News poll shows 50 percent of likely voters support Mr. Jones as opposed to 40 percent who support Mr. Moore. This is a minimal change from the November poll, which also showed Mr. Jones at 50 percent with Mr. Moore at 42 percent.
Other polls have shown a much tighter contest. The Real Clear Politics polling average has Mr. Moore with a 2-point lead.
The race has been plagued by accusations of sexual misconduct when several women came forward to accuse Mr. Moore of pursuing sexual relationships with them as teens. He was an adult at the time the women claimed these instances occurred more than 20 years ago.
The election is set for Tuesday.
