MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Police say a driver speeding away from a traffic stop in Manchester, New Hampshire, struck an officer with the car’s side mirror and later crashed into a fence.

Police said the officer wasn’t hurt and saw two people leave the vehicle. The driver, 19-year-old Tyler Corriveau, of Manchester, was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. He was arrested on charges of disobeying a police officer, reckless conduct, and driving after his license was suspended on a drunken driving conviction. He faced arraignment Tuesday.

The passenger, 20-year-old Luis Montanez, of Manchester, was charged with resisting arrest and released on bail.

It wasn’t immediately known if they had lawyers.
