MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) - A man doing construction work in northern Idaho was killed after a tractor with a rolling pin attached to the front tipped over and trapped him.
The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/2wsZqzk ) the man was working for Motley-Motley Inc. on Thursday when he was killed.
Moscow Police Chief James Fry said the man was “compacting a line” when the incident occurred.
Fire Chief Brian Nickerson of the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department said other workers at the site were able to remove the man from under the tractor before first responders arrived. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
The man’s name has not been released. He was in his early 20s.
One other man was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
