LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - John Calipari and Kentucky players will co-host a telethon to aid Texas victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The Wildcats coach and wife Ellen Calipari, players and program benefactors Joe and Kelly Craft will work with Lexington station WKYT-TV and statewide affiliates in hosting the “Teaming Up For Texas” telethon from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.

Calipari on Monday expressed concern for storm victims and how they will handle the aftermath of the massive storm. He praised Kentucky fans for helping raise $150,000 last week through its alumni charity basketball game and said in a statement on Wednesday that “we can do even more.”
