The Republican Party and I are done. My friends and I are haggling over whether to un-register ourselves and totally opt out of the system or just sit on the sidelines until hell freezes over and the Republican Party supports its elected president. Absent a change of heart to support the president as the leader of the Party, I am resolved.

The GOP will never see a penny from me again. However, I will continue to financially support President Trump. No Republican candidate will receive my vote again. I regret my votes for Rob Portman and Brad Wenstrup. They are traitors to those of us who voted for them, expecting them to support their duly elected president. I will sit out as many elections as it takes to replace them. I no longer care about “lesser of two evils.”

I will not participate in this sham system until there are term limits and Congress subjects itself to the laws of the land by repealing the pension system and the other perks they have set up for themselves. We need a return to a citizen legislature.

I say this to the Republican Party elites: You will not retain control of the House or the Senate unless there is a change to support the president’s initiatives. I understand there is always room to disagree and compromise for better policies, but unless there is willingness to follow the lead of the president and stop the back-stabbing, the days of the GOP controlling the House and Senate are winding down.
