MIAMI (AP) - The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information that would help solve a recent Miami bank robbery in which the suspect fired several shots.
An FBI news release Wednesday said the money would be paid if it leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the July 6 robbery of a TD Bank branch.
The suspect pulled a handgun during the robbery, fired several shots and demanded money from a teller. The FBI did not release the amount stolen. Surveillance photos showed the suspect is a black man, wearing a white tank top and carrying a backpack.
There were customers in the bank. No one was injured.
The robber got away in a stolen bakery van that was later recovered by police in South Miami.
