MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - A Lawrenceville man is in custody after authorities allegedly found videos stored in an online account containing child pornography involving girls between ages 5 and 16.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports 29-year-old Raymond C. Smalley faces five counts of child sexual exploitation. Jail records show he’s being held at the Cobb County Detention Center on $25,000 bond. It was unknown if he’s represented by an attorney.
The alleged crimes occurred between November 2016 and March. Authorities began investigating after DropBox officials found five videos of suspected child pornography on Smalley’s account. DropBox is a file-hosting site that offers online cloud storage.
Authorities received Smalley’s account information and tracked the videos to the numerical Internet address for his computer.
