PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A judge has ordered a Maine woman to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after police say she struck her former landlord with her car.

The Portland Press Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2wmZQKR ) 51-year-old Paula Finlay had been acting erratically before she hit the man Aug. 12.

Court documents show the man told police he returned to his home in Falmouth and saw Finlay’s car parked in his driveway. Police say he had previously evicted Finlay from an apartment in Portland and filed for a protection order against her after the eviction.

Police say Finlay rammed the man with her vehicle after he blocked her in his driveway and warned officers were on their way.

Finlay is facing a felony charge for aggravated assault and other misdemeanor charges.
