BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - In a story Aug. 15 about a movie scheduled to be filmed in Buffalo, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the movie “The True Adventures of Wolfboy” was based on a novel by Evan Kulhman. The film isn’t based on his novel. The story also erroneously said Declan Baldwin was the film’s producer. He is among three producers of the film. The story also misspelled the name of the “Manchester by the Sea” director. He is Kenneth Lonergan, not Kennth Longergan.

Film by ’Manchester by the Sea’ producer to shoot in Buffalo
A producer of the Oscar-winning movie “Manchester by the Sea” is planning to shoot a film in Buffalo and has put out a call for extras.
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A producer of the Oscar-winning movie “Manchester by the Sea” is planning to shoot a film in Buffalo and has put out a call for extras.
The Buffalo Niagara Film Office says the film is called “The True Adventures of Wolfboy,” a coming-of-age tale about a teen who runs away from home.
Filming is scheduled to begin in Buffalo next month. Locations checked so far include the city’s Lake Erie waterfront.
Among the film’s three producers is Declan Baldwin, one of the producers of “Manchester by the Sea.”
The film won 2017 Academy Awards for best actor by Casey Affleck and best original screenplay by Kenneth Lonergan, who also directed the film and was nominated for best director.
