LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada authorities briefly evacuated employees at a state office building after a text message threat was made.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department states it received reports of the threat to the Grant Sawyer State Office building Friday morning. The text message was sent to an employee at the building.

Police checked and found nothing threatening inside.

The employees were allowed back into the building in the afternoon.
