HAMPTON, Va. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Virginia.

The Daily Press reports a man walked into a Wells Fargo in Hampton around 3:35 p.m. on Monday.

Hampton police spokeswoman Ashley Jenrette said in a news release that the man implied that he had a gun and demanded money from the teller. She says the man ran away from the bank with the money.

The man is described as about 160 pounds (73 kilograms) and was wearing a multi-colored shirt and jeans with a blue knit cap.
