BAY CITY, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say the all-clear has been given at city hall in Bay City after the building was evacuated following a suspected natural gas leak.

No injuries were reported at the government building. Fire Chief Karey Prieur tells WNEM-TV that the building’s ventilation system was shut down Tuesday morning and the odor went away. Prieur says the all-clear was soon given.

City Manager Rick Finn told The Bay City Times that all employees were evacuated as crews responded. Workers were allowed back inside after the building was cleared.
