A pro-President Trump group is running ads calling on the Senate to vote to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court.
“The verdict is in: Neil Gorsuch is a great pick for the Supreme Court,” the narrator says in the ad from the 45Committee, which has promoted the Trump agenda.
The 30-second “Qualified” ad features footage of television talking heads praising Judge Gorsuch and describing him as “completely qualified” for the job.
“Urge the Senate: Support an up or down vote for Neil Gorsuch,” the narrator says.
The Senate is expected to vote on Judge Gorsuch’s nomination later this week, and Democrats are planning to filibuster the pick, which would force Republicans to win over eight Democrats or change Senate rules to confirm him with a simple majority vote.
