President Trump kicked off the week by floating a couple questions about Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and her political allies — including the former chairman of her presidential campaign.

“Was the brother of John Podesta paid big money to get the sanctions on Russia lifted? Did Hillary know?” Mr. Trump said Monday on Twitter.

Minutes later, he tweeted, “Did Hillary Clinton ever apologize for receiving the answers to the debate?”

“Just asking!” he said.

Mr. Trump has argued that the news media has been too focused on the alleged ties between his 2016 campaign and Russian officials, and not enough on ties between the Clinton camp and Moscow, as well as the leaks that have come from the intelligence community.
