GORHAM, Maine (AP) - Police in Maine say a 5-year-old boy was hurt when he shifted a parked car into gear, causing it roll down the driveway, across the street and down an incline.

The Portland Press Herald (https://bit.ly/2oTpgZo ) reports Gorham police say the accident happened in Gorham while family members were working on a project in the driveway. The boy was playing in the parked car at the time.

Police say the child was hurt while trying to exit the vehicle as it was rolling. They described his injuries as not life-threatening.
