BALTIMORE (AP) - Sen. Ben Cardin will be taking part in a discussion on foreign policy.

It’s scheduled for Friday morning at Morgan State University in Baltimore.

The Maryland Democrat will be including a special focus on new ways to increase diversity of the national security workforce.

This week, Cardin introduced legislation designed to promote diversity and inclusion in the departments of state and defense, as well as other agencies focused on shaping and implementing U.S. foreign policy.
