SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) - Seton Hall has gotten a national letter of intent from forward Sandro Mamukelashvili.

The Big East announced the signing of the 17-year-old from the former Soviet republic of Georgia. He played at Montverde Academy in Florida last season.

Mamukelashvili joins Darnell Brodie of Newark, New Jersey and Myles Cale of Middletown, Delaware, in coach Kevin Willard’s recruiting class.

Born in New York, Mamukelashvili grew up in Georgia and went to high school in Italy before moving to Florida. He speaks four languages - English, Georgian, Russian and Italian.

Seton Hall won 21 games and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for a second consecutive season.
