MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Health officials are reporting a surge in opioid overdoses in recent days in the New Hampshire city of Manchester.

Officials with emergency services provider American Medical Response tell WMUR-TV (https://bit.ly/2pPigOE ) there have been 14 overdoses since Tuesday, including a fatal one.

Officials haven’t seen a rash like this since October.

First responders say they are seeing an influx people showing up at designated safe stations, where they get a medical assessment and help in seeking treatment.
