HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Montana’s unemployment rate remained at 3.8 percent in March.

Over the first three months of the year, Montana added nearly 4,800 jobs. The state Department of Labor and Industry reports the largest gains were in the construction, professional and business services and health care industries.

The national unemployment rate for March was 4.5 percent, a .2 percent decrease from January.
