President Trump said Friday that the traditional 100-day standard for judging new presidents is “ridiculous,” but he also thinks he’s done well so far.

“No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter.

The confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch has been one of the prime achievements of Mr. Trump’s first 100 days in office. He will hit that benchmark next Saturday — a day after the White House and Congress must agree on a new spending plan to avert a government shutdown.
