The Chicago Cubs received their World Series championship rings before Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and they came with a neat twist — each ring has 108 diamonds in them to symbolize the number of years it took to win another championship.
The Cubs posted a video on their social media account detailing other fun tidbits carved in the rings, including: all the games and the scores during their playoff run, the time in which the Cubs won Game 7 of the World Series and even a billy goat to symbolize the curse of the Cubs.
