DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two men shot in a Des Moines parking lot.

The shots were reported around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday in the Beaverdale neighborhood. Police say the shooting occurred after what appeared to be a prearranged meeting in the lot of people in two vehicles.

Police say the two men were taken to hospitals after the shooting, and one died. The other is expected to survive his arm wound.

Police identified the deceased man Wednesday as 36-year-old Antonio Quinn, who lived in Des Moines. The other man was identified as 33-year-old Michael James Jr., also of Des Moines. Police say he’s been released from a hospital.

No arrests have been reported.
