CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police in Charlotte say two people have been arrested in connection with the January shooting death of a 14-year-old boy.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said in a statement on Wednesday that 19-year-old Mangasha Dion Clark is charged with murder in the death of Anthony Frazier. Police also said a 17-year-old was charged with accessory after the fact to murder in Frazier’s death. It’s not known if either suspect has an attorney.

Frazier died on Jan. 3 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was the son of a Kannapolis police officer.

Police said Frazier was visiting family members in Charlotte when he was shot while sitting in a vehicle.
