Fox News’ Megyn Kelly has challenged Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton to come on her show instead of referencing her name in attacks on Donald Trump.

Mrs. Clinton’s campaign has used multiple new cycles since Monday’s first presidential debate to paint Donald Trump as a sexist. “The Kelly Factor” host decided Friday that it was time to call out the former secretary of state for seemingly dodging her show while capitalizing Mr. Trump’s past disputes with women.

“Yes, @HillaryClinton, do 30 min w/@maryjblige, & then perhaps u will finally sit w/me, instead of just using my name to hit @realDonaldTrump,” Mrs. Kelly tweeted the Democrat while referencing a recent interview the candidate did with Apple Music.

“Yes, I think it’s really hard. To be honest, I think it’s really hard,” Mrs. Clinton said in response to a question about professional women being judged on their appearance, Politico reported Friday. “I don’t know why it’s so hard, but, you know, I think it’s rooted in, you know, tens of thousands of years of how people’s lives have been defined, what it’s meant to be a woman or a man and how society was organized.”

Mrs. Clinton told “The View” in April that Fox’s star anchor is a “superb journalist” before admonishing Mr. Trump for his behavior after an August 2015 GOP primary debate in Cleveland when he called Mrs. Kelly “the biggest loser” and a “bimbo” for bringing up verbal scuffles with entertainers such as Rosie O’Donnell.

“I just don’t understand what he thinks is the role of somebody running for president,” Mrs. Clinton told a panel on “The View.”

Mrs. Kelly also pressed Clinton’s campaign press secretary Brian Fallon on Monday night about the candidate’s reluctance to sit down for an interview.

“I’m gonna go back right after I walk off this platform here and make the case that we need to get her on the show,” Mr. Fallon replied, Fox Nation reported.
