ANALYSIS/OPINION:
After bombing hospitals and aid convoys during the latest abortive cease-fire in the Syrian War — notice I didn’t say “civil war” because this is now a global conflict — Moscow on Thursday generously proposed a 48-hour window to allow relief supplies to enter the besieged city of Aleppo, which Syrian government forces are doing a very good job of reconquering with Russian support.
The offer is the centerpiece of a brutally effective propaganda campaign in the textbook “hybrid warfare” scenario we are witnessing in the Middle East. Russian President Vladimir Putin is just simply mopping the floor with President Obama and Secretary of State John F. Kerry, in Syria and elsewhere. Mr. Kerry still can’t get over the fact that another world leader actually cares about the country he leads and pursues its interests, instead of chasing after some greater, secret agenda that doesn’t include national borders.
As Mr. Kerry famously commented in 2014, “You just don’t in the 21st century behave in 19th century fashion by invading another country on completely trumped-up pretext.” Well John, I’ve got some news for you, apparently they do.
Don’t get me wrong — I’m not absolving Russia or excusing Moscow’s aggression, human rights abuses or war crimes. But our incompetent, Kool-Aid-drinking, globalist administration is getting its rear end kicked by a deadly effective realist, one bent on accomplishing his political agenda backed by old-fashioned military force.
Alas, maybe our leaders just don’t care. Perhaps American national security takes a back seat to the goal of weakening U.S. power on the global stage. What better way to foment a globalist revolution than to walk away from the idea that the U.S. must be the world’s policeman? In this season of anti-cop anarchy, that statement takes on additional resonance.

Mr. Putin’s Russia will keep taking territory in strategic areas. Iran will continue to take advantage of the fatally flawed nuclear “deal” to develop the bomb. China will continue to threaten its neighbors and move to military dominance of the Pacific. North Korea will continue to develop the means to destroy Los Angeles with a single (nuclear) shot.
All of this will continue until someone stands up to the bad guys. Yes, it’s going to be scary. Yes, it’s going to be dangerous. Liberals will wail, gnash their teeth and howl at the moon. That, however, is what it’s going to take to ensure my children and grandchildren’s safety.
The postwar global stability that has provided peace for the last 60 years has been shattered in eight short years of a Manchurian Candidate presidency who has systematically unraveled the institutions that made our country great and helped provide relative world peace. This has been done on purpose. The endgame of this agenda we have yet to see, but whatever it is, it is not going to be pretty for patriotic Americans who value freedom, the rule of law and individual responsibility.
Russia, Iran, and Shiite militants now own the Middle East. Aleppo will fall and whatever disorganized strategy — if you can call it strategy — the Obama administration claims to have will fall as well, in a spectacular implosion of historical proportions. The Kremlin will continue to destabilize Europe and entice former Soviet satellite states to come over to its sphere of influence.
Mr. Putin is deadly serious about rebuilding the Russian empire. He is not a communist ideologue. He is the new czar. Anyone who knows their history would know the czarist empire stretched from Poland to San Francisco at one point before the czar ran out of money fighting the Crimean War. History does repeat itself.
It’s too late for this pathetic administration to accomplish anything. The next administration must have its eyes fully open on Day One and have a plan immediately begin to repair the Obama damage to America as soon as humanly possible.
